Art and Design

We researched Tudor houses last week, how they were built and what resources were used to build them. We looked at images of Tudor houses still standing today and discussed the black and white wooden patterns.

To make our own Tudor house, first we drew a net of a cuboid onto a piece of card and cut it out, then we assembled our 3D box.  Next we painted our boxes white. We made the roof by folding card and attaching strips of 'straw'. To decorate our Tudor houses we painted lollipop sticks black and used the hot glue gun to arrange them into a decorative pattern.
